16/10 Damaraland

After 3 days in the Strand hotel, we left Swakopmund to visit anothter site in Damaraland, called Twyfelfontein, also famous for its rock drawings. First along the coast north to Henties baai to see a shipwreck on the Skeleton Coast Park. 
Twyfelfontein is the next famous place with rock drawings and engravings. The guide thinks that they won’t survive the next two thousand years.  It is a bit the same as yesterday, only bigger and the same warm weather. On the way to our lodge, called Damara Mopane Lodge, we finally saw the Weswitschia, a plant who can became more than  a thousand years. We decided not to visit the petrified forest. Most of us felt sick and tired.
